Parent Support and Communication Frequently Asked Questions
BlueSky will use email, phone, and text for communication. Please ensure that you have all your contact information updated in our system to receive timely updates.
If your student has an IEP or 504, you can reach out directly to their case manager. If you have general questions about support, you can contact the Director of Special Education, Mandy Kasowicz, for all information on Special Education, or the Director of Student Support Services for questions on the 504 process.
Parents can log into their parent portal to look at schedules and courses at bluesky.powerschool.com/public. If you need help with your parent portal you can email support@blueskyschool.org.

A student’s teacher is usually the best first point of contact for questions about academic performance or engagement in a specific course. For broader support, including organization, time management, or overall progress, the student’s advisor is an excellent resource. BlueSky’s teachers and advisors work closely with families to monitor progress and provide the support students need to succeed.
Teachers utilize several channels to keep you informed. General class updates, school newsletters, and important announcements are sent via email. If a teacher has a specific concern regarding your student’s performance or progress, they will reach out directly through email, phone, or text to ensures timely support.
