My Passions as an Educator
I became an English teacher because of my deep love of stories. Storytelling is at the apex of all my passions. Whether working with all the amazing young people within our school systems, participating in the communities for which I am a member, listening to the song of birds, the stillness of a forest, or buzzing of bees in my gardens– I believe it is the art of telling and listening to Story which connects us all.

My Passions and Hobbies
I love all things nature and anything that involves being outside: camping, hiking, biking, walking, gardening, snowshoeing, skiing, etc. I love to write, to read, to bake bread, and to spend time with my awesome family.
