How I Came to BlueSky
My youngest daughter moved away to college, and I was looking for a way to teach ASL again. I am so happy to be Minnesota’s neighbor, and have the opportunity to teach the language I love most for BlueSky!

My Passions as an Educator
I began working as a sign language interpreter in 1990. I taught as a Dyslexia Interventionist and an American Sign Language teacher for many years. I recently acquired my Deaf Studies Certificate and am a college student taking classes in ASL-English Interpreting.

My Passions and Hobbies
My favorite days include coffee, my dogs, writing, and gardening. I am married to a native Iowan. My husband and I have three adult daughters and a son-in-law. Our family loves camping and rooting for the Iowa Hawkeyes!
