Where do you live?
I live in Mankato with my husband William and our daughter Brielle.
Why did you become a teacher?
I started working as a special education paraprofessional back in 2002, and decided I wanted to continue helping students realize their potential and reach their goals. So I went back to college for teaching.
Why did you choose BlueSky?
I chose BlueSky because I was fascinated with online learning. I had a lot of online classes in college and realized just how well online learning can work for many individuals. Online learning has evolved so much in just the last few years.
What do you think makes BlueSky special?
BlueSky is special because of the unique flexibility it allows students to finish their education.
What do you like to do when you're not teaching?
I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and anything outside-especially in the winter!
If there were one thing you could tell people about BlueSky, what would it be?
BlueSky is a great opportunity for any student ready to find their education in their own way.
