My Hometown
I grew up in the Shoreview area, attending Mounds View High School. But I now call Blaine home!

How I Came to BlueSky
I first came to BlueSky as a long term social studies substitute teacher and I LOVED it! I wanted to stay on board but there were no positions available. After that, I checked the BlueSky website everyday for nearly 2 years hoping for an open position. And low and behold, Summer of 2018 allowed me to come back to BlueSky as an Advisor and I couldn’t be more pleased to be a part of the BlueSky family!

What Makes BlueSky Special to Me
BlueSky is special in so many ways! But the thing that makes this school extra special is the awesome students and families who attend here! I have worked in several different school settings and have found BlueSky students to be incredibly grateful for the support they receive. As an educator and adult, it is so refreshing to see and feel gratitude from youth!

My Passions and Hobbies
My passions and hobbies include being an active mother of 2 beautiful children who are the blessings of my life! I also love spending time with family and friends, dance (especially ballet), exercising, traveling (especially to Vero Beach, Florida), shopping, and home decorating.

My most memorable experience at BlueSky has been getting to know my advisees and learning about their lives both in and out of school!
