TOSA/Welcome and Support
Where do you live?
I live in Golden Valley with my husband and two daughters, Svea (13) and Elsa (11) and our standard poodle, Lucy, who think's she's human.
Why did you become a teacher?
I became a teacher because I've always loved working with middle-high school students. I also had some pretty great teachers when I was a teen, so I was inspired to hopefully make a positive difference in some teenage lives too.
BlueSky is truly an amazing community full of exceptional staff members who want to walk with you on your educational journey, every step of the way.
Why did you choose BlueSky?
I love the student-focused nature of this school. I love that it caters to its students by going above and beyond to meet student needs. It's also pretty slick to go to work on my computer. Can't beat the commute!
What do you think makes BlueSky special?
Without a doubt, I get to work with some of the most compassionate, talented people! Everyone here cares so deeply about what they do, but most importantly, who they do it for – our students.
What do you like to do when you're not teaching?
I love spending time with my family and friends. We have a family cabin up north that's one of my favorite places to visit. I adore its beauty, peacefulness and the fact it's always full of laughter.
If there were one thing you could tell people about BlueSky, what would it be?
