Congratulations to Brianna Johnson! Her poem "Lust," which deals with the theme of abstinence, will appear in Voices: a Collection of Poetic Works and Stories, an anthology of young writers' work published by Green Spring Publishing.

iNacol Conference
BlueSky staff members shared their expertise with other online learning educators at an international conference on online learning in Austin, Texas, November 15-17.
Andrea Swanson, one of our school social workers, presented a session on BlueSky's Hope Study and our successful student services model. Assistant director Amy Larsen, counselor Amy Anderson, and teachers Laura Welciek and Karen Kraco provided a panel discussion for the session.
Interim Director Jeffrey Schulz was a co-presenter in a session given by MNOLA (Minnesota Online Learning Association). He and MNOLA colleagues discussed the ways online programs in Minnesota work together to advocate for online learning.
Director of Student Services Renee Parcheta and Health/PE teacher Jill Larson also attended the conference, which was a wonderful opportunity to meet and learn from other online educators.
