Marty Brandl is a licensed 5-8 Mathematics Teacher & 9-12 Mathematics Teacher. I grew up on a farm near Comfrey, MN. I graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University with a degree in Mathematics Education and a minor in Computer Science. Prior to joining BlueSky, I taught 7th & 8th grade math at Holy Redeemer School in Marshall for four years. I live in Marshall with my wife, Tara, and my sons, Brady and Ben. Tara works as the advertising manager at the Marshall Independent. Brady was born in April 2006 and Ben was born July 2008. The kids keep me busy! 
I love computers! I worked at a local computer shop during my last year of college and full time until I started teaching at Holy Redeemer. I’ve kept my skills sharp by fixing computers for friends and family. When I’m not teaching, or working on computers, I enjoy several hobbies, including stamp collecting, video games, and working on websites.
