Heather Delisle is a licensed K-12 Visual Arts Teacher.

Hello, my name is Heather Delisle; I teach art at BlueSky Charter School. This is my third year of teaching at BlueSky, and I love it. I enjoy the connections I make with my students, and I always love seeing the projects that are handed in.

I grew up in southern Minnesota, and I have been living in the Twin Cities off and on for many years. I received my undergraduate degree in art from the University of Minnesota, my graduate degree in art from the University of Georgia, and my license from the University of Minnesota.

For many years I was a studio manager/technician and faculty member at the Northern Clay Center in Minneapolis. Nine years ago I left the clay center to take a full-time teaching position at Calvin Academy in Mounds View Minnesota. This was a small school whose focus was on providing an individualized education for its students. It was a rewarding experience; when Calvin closed I was happy to find BlueSky, a school where I could follow my vision of offering a personalized education to my students.
