Hi, For the past two years our two oldest daughters have clearly enjoyed BlueSky. They have three younger sisters, ages 8, 5 and 3 years old and one older brother. Prior to BlueSky, they were home-schooled. They have learned many basic and intricate life skills being home that are, in our opinion, crucial for a good and healthy future. Flexibility plays a key role in our lives. Their father is a carpenter contractor and we also run a small Frozen Custard shop in the summer. The Teachers at BlueSky are great!!! Our girls are communicating with them on a regular basis either by phone, email or "I.M."ing. BlueSky teachers are on top of everything. They’ve been very encouraging and helpful. We believe our girls have the capabilities to find the answers to any of their questions. They know where to go and are not afraid to ask. Socialization is not a problem. They have other home schooling friends, some with BlueSky and some in the public school. All of our children can carry on a conversation with anyone of any age with a good heart and caring attitude, which is, unfortunately not common in our society today. There are some things that they are missing in the public school system: drugs, sex and attitudes and lies of modern society that seriously affect our country in a negative manner. They are also missing the attitudes of their naïve, overconfident peers who say that it is silly to listen to your parents. We enjoy the freedom to teach our children about God at home without being censored or offending anyone. Our family appreciates and thank everyone at BlueSky! Pam |
