Family All Ways

During the last decades, diverse family forms have increased in the   United States (as well as other nations) because of the increase in divorce/separation, single-parent families, stepfamilies, cohabitation and same sex-parents.  Divorce/separation has been shown to be a complicated experience for all family members involved.  Children/adolescents who experience divorce/separation need help and support from caring adults and peers in their lives.  The curriculum for this group is intended to be for students, ages 11-14, who have actually experienced problems due to divorce or separation.

Grades 7-9; quarter; maximum enrollment of 16
