Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments—Series II (MCA-IIs) If you go to this page of the Minnesota Department of Education web site, you can find Item Samplers for the MCA 7th, 8th and 11th grade Math tests as well as ones for the 7th, 8th and 10th grade Reading Tests. This will give you a good idea of what you will be seeing on the test. Please note: They may take 1-2 minutes to download.
GRAD Component of the MCA-II Now, if you are a 9th grader and will be taking the GRAD Writing test this year, there are no samples available yet. And there’s not a lot of other information available either. So far as I can tell, it is your basic essay test. Be sure to take your time. Work carefully and proofread your essay before turning it in. Visit the web site for the GRAD test. Feel free to look around and see what's there. Since there is so little information about this test, you could get some writing practice if you look at the BST Writing practice tests and essays.
