Hi! My name is John Mizeur and I’m one of the counselors for BlueSky Online Charter School. I just started with BlueSky in August of 2008 and I am really enjoying it. | I have an undergraduate and master’s degree from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota. For two years, I was the counselor for a small charter school in Osakis MN. I am on my 3rd year as a school counselor, and have found this occupation to be so rewarding. I can’t imagine doing anything else! I was recently married to my wife Amy back in August of 2007. We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary! We do not have any children yet, but are pretty content with our animals. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs. Amy and I moved into our first home in Avon MN back in April. She is a teacher in Albany MN so it is nice to have the freedom to work from home with her being close to her work. For fun, I like to go biking, watch football (go Vikes!) and play Texas Hold Em Poker. I am also looking into helping coach wrestling at the school my wife is employed at. I am very excited to be part of BlueSky Charter School! | |
