Caring for My Child, Myself and My future. If you are enrolling in this group, it means you either have a child, or are expecting one soon. Congratulations! You have taken on the toughest job in the world: Parenting. But it can also be the most rewarding job ever. The goal of this group is to give each other support, understanding, and education that will make all of us better parents. I think we can all agree that what we want most for our children is for them to be happy, healthy, productive individuals. To attain this goal as parents we must be able to do the same, thus we will also be discussing how to take care of ourselves, relationships, and attain our own personal goals as these are all factors that will impact our children. The group will be set up with discussions, educational readings and reviews, and journal entries. The class will be designed for students to join at anytime but they will be required to complete the entire coursework to receive credit. Grades 9-12; 0.25 credits; prerequisite full time BlueSky student Sommer Oslund

Student Support Exchange This group is designed for students who have a sibling or parent with a disability or prolonged illness. The purpose of this group is for you and your group members to provide support to one another, to gain coping and communication skills and to gain insight into how you are affected by the specific disability or illness that your family member is diagnosed with. There may be readings, journaling, short assignments, and some Threaded Discussion. I hope that you will be comfortable sharing with the group your thoughts and feelings on the topic and respond to others’ comments as well. It is important that each person's thoughts and feelings are respected. We all have different experiences, but it is my hope that in this class you can provide support and information for each other. The class will be designed for students to join at anytime but they will be required to complete the entire coursework to receive credit. Grades 7-12; 0.25 credits; prerequisite full time BlueSky student Lynn Riebe
