Our son, Jerry, had a difficult time all through Middle School and although he was capable of doing the work, he just didn't do well in the traditional school environment. When he started 9th grade things got progressively worse, he was very unhappy and failing most of his classes because he just didn't care. We researched alternatives and heard about BlueSky from our local Community Education Department. We looked at the website and explained to Jerry how it worked. He really liked the idea of doing his classes on-line and wanted to start as soon as possible. BlueSky was able to get him registered and started in less than two weeks and it has been wonderful. Jerry is really motivated to complete the assignments and is doing very well in them all. He is much happier and we are thrilled to see the positive change in him.

After several months, my husband was offered a promotion at work which would have involved a move to Chicago. We found that Illinois did not offer anything like the program at BlueSky and one of the main reasons we had for declining the move was because we didn't want Jerry to leave something that's working so well for him.
