Marti Prekker is a licensed 7-12 English/Language Arts Teacher. 
I am excited to be a returning BlueSky teacher. Growing with BlueSky has been a satisfying and growing process for me. More than ever I am a loyal supporter of Minnesota Charter Schools, and firmly believe BlueSky embodies a philosophy of kind helpfulness that more of the world would do well to imitate, or emulate. As you can see by my word choices, I am an English teacher. I say of myself, "I was born with a dictionary in one hand and an encyclopedia in the other." Love of reading, and a gift of "gab" or talking certainly helps me on the job. I like to find out what dreams or hopes a person has, then encourage them to make their dreams and hopes reality by taking one step at a time toward them. My life motto goes something like this..."Let your dreams pull you along. Even if they never come true, they helped you get from one place to the next. If one dream dies, find another to take its place. Dream on, dream always!!" |
