Andrea Michels is a licensed K-12 Health Education Teacher & K-12 Physical Education Teacher.
I am one of the Health and Physical Educators for BlueSky Charter School. I taught for six years in a small traditional school prior to joining the BlueSky team. I am starting my 2nd year with BlueSky. I am a firm believer in providing individual learning experiences that benefit and relate to each student's interests and abilities. I strongly believe in providing a personal touch for my students and getting to know them as individuals. I graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2001 with a double major in Health and Physical Education, and a minor in Public Health. I went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Education from St. Mary’s University in 2005. I live in Litchfield with my husband, Jason who is a high school social studies teacher. We have two children. Tyson is five and Kylie is three. As a family we enjoy spending time together golfing, playing outside, fishing, gardening, grilling and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks. |
