Rachel Hilyar is a licensed High School Consumer & Homemaking/Family Life Teacher. I am the Family and Consumer Science Teacher at BlueSky Charter School. I have a bachelor of Science Degree in Family Social Science and a Masters of Education degree in Family Education, both from the University of Minnesota. Go Gophers! Before coming to BlueSky I taught in Colorado for two years and was a health educator in the field of public health for over six years. 
I enjoy spending time with my family which includes my husband and two sons ages four and 2 years. My oldest just started pre-school and my youngest is full of life as most two-year olds are! I grew up in Wisconsin where I developed great love for the outdoors. Camping, traveling and playing piano are a few of my favorite things. I swam competitively through college and still enjoy being active. I really enjoy working with the students and staff of Blue Sky Charter School! |
