Heidi Housh is a licensed 7-12 English/Language Arts Teacher. 
Hey, everyone, I teach English here at BlueSky, and I’m pumped to be working at BlueSky and with you! I grew up in the Twin Cities, which is where I still reside with my husband, Kit, and our two daughters, Svea (4) and Elsa (2). 
We’re hoping to add a dog to our family, but I’d like to get our littlest one out of diapers first!
I attended college at St. Olaf in Northfield, where I earned my degrees in English and psychology. I then pursued my Masters in teaching at the University of St. Thomas. My first teaching position was in a suburb here in the Twin Cities where I taught English in seventh and ninth grades.
Traveling is a passion of mine! I took advantage of the studying abroad programs while at St. Olaf and then, after college, managed to get a great gig teaching English in Japan for a year as part of the JET Programme. I worked hard in the schools, of course, but it really felt like I was getting paid to travel! Life has changed a bit, though, since having kids. I hope to get back out to see the world again soon. Right now, I’m happy with heading to the neighborhood park with the little ones. Feel free to call or write me anytime. I look forward to working with you! |
