Not Your Conventional Classroom

My youngest daughter became pregnant during her junior year of high school. Prior to her daughter's birth, she ended up dropping out of school. I did some research looking for online opportunities for her to finish school and earn her diploma. In doing so, we found BlueSky Charter School. She enrolled, worked very hard and graduated in January of 2007. The staff at BlueSky was very supportive and I was impressed with how they kept in personal touch with me and my daughter.

The conventional classroom is not the solution for every student, and the opportunity to complete their high school education is too important not to take into consideration other viable options. Without this opportunity, she would not have graduated. - Mary
