Where do you live?

I live in St. Paul with my wife.

Why did you become a teacher?

I became a teacher because of the respect and admiration I had for a few teachers while growing up. They helped me understand a lot about myself and about life.

BlueSky staff know that all students can succeed if they put their minds to it.

Why did you choose BlueSky?

I chose to teach at BlueSky because I want to continue being a positive influence in students’ lives.

What do you think makes BlueSky special?

BlueSky is special for many reasons. One reason is that BlueSky is a great option for students who need some flexibility in their schedules. Another is that BlueSky fosters great teacher-parent communication. A third reason is because the BlueSky staff know that all students can succeed if they put their minds to it.

What do you like to do when you’re not teaching?

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy being outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and camping are very rewarding experiences for me. I also like playing and watching sports, especially baseball, hockey, and football.

If there were one thing you could tell people about BlueSky, what would it be?

BlueSky is blazing the trail in online education by offering students flexibility while they work towards their diploma.
