Where do you live?
I live in Bloomington; it makes for an easy trip to the international airport for travel adventures!
Why did you become a teacher?
Ever since I was in second grade I wanted to be teacher, but I didn’t know what subject area. By the time I was in seventh grade, I fell in love with physical education class. During my senior year in high school, I taught elementary-age special education students to swim, and the rest is teaching history! Now, in my 24th year of teaching, I am still passionate about what I do!

I chose Blue Sky because of the unique challenges that it presents. I was very intrigued by the opportunity to be on the cutting edge of educational technology advances and innovativeness.

What makes BlueSky special is the individual attention that I am able to provide to my students. My students have the opportunity to share personal experiences in a non-threatening, non-judgmental, and supportive environment.
What do you like to do when you’re not teaching?
Active travel adventures, reading, outdoor activities, surfing the net for travel deals, live theater, movies and coffee shops.
