Where do you live?

I live in Eagan with my wife (a junior-high music teacher) and our dog, Matilda, a Lab-Rottweiler mix.

Why did you become a teacher?

I became a teacher because my dad is a retired teacher, and I grew up in an educational atmosphere. I originally wanted to do something in criminal justice (CSI-type stuff, before it was cool), but was naturally pulled back to education.

I chose BlueSky because the school combines the cutting edge of technology with personal attention to students.

Why did you choose BlueSky?

I chose BlueSky because the school combines the cutting edge of technology with personal attention to students.

What do you think makes BlueSky special?

BlueSky is special because of its flexibility, not only for students but also for teachers.

What do you like to do when you're not teaching?

In the winter, I am the skip of my curling team. I like to read and spend too much time with my Xbox.

If there were one thing you could tell people about BlueSky, what would it be?

Attending BlueSky gives you a glimpse into the future of education.
