Where do you live?

I live just down the road from the BlueSky office in Eagan with my husband and our dog, Doug.

What is your role in keeping BlueSky running smoothly?

I work with the administrators and office staff on a number of different projects. I'm in charge of the social media sites, accounts payable, planning student activities, putting together the newsletter, and I'm usually the one you hear on the phone when you call the office. I do a little bit of everything.

Why did you choose BlueSky?

I thought the concept of a tuition-free online school open to all Minnesota residents was a really great alternative for students who don't want a traditional learning environment.

This really is a unique and tailor-made program that will help you meet any education goals you might have.

What do you think makes BlueSky special?

There is so much support here and all the staff and faculty really want students to succeed. We are also available for students in so many ways - unlike some online schools, we have staff present to help with IT problems, registration questions, and anything else.

What do you like to do when you're not working?

I love traveling and trying new things and spending time with friends and family, but I also can't resist cuddling on the couch with the cribbage board and watching movies.

If there were one thing you could tell people about BlueSky, what would it be?

This really is a unique and tailor-made program that will help you meet any education goals you might have.
