Where do you live?
Saint Paul, MN
Why did you become a teacher?
I became a teacher to help learners follow their path and open their world to opportunities! In my current role, I will support learners and their families through possible obstacles during that journey.
"BlueSky offers multiple layers of support from advisors, teachers, counselors, etc."
Why did you choose BlueSky?
The virtual environment allows for a more student-focused platform. Education is about fueling curiosity and BlueSky Online has many opportunities for learners throughout Minnesota and evokes a student-centered focus. I thrive with the challenge of the virtual environment by thinking outside the box and challenging the traditional idea of education.
What do you think makes BlueSky special?
BlueSky truly has flexible options for students. When a person attends a virtual school, they are seeking an alternative learning environment. BlueSky also offers multiple layers of support from advisors, teachers, counselors, etc. Even though BlueSky is virtual, students should never feel alone in their education path.
What do you like to do when you're not teaching?
When I'm not working I enjoy hanging out with my husband and dogs (Annie and Rollo), traveling, going on long walks, hanging out with friends and currently remodeling our 130 year old home!
