Where do you live?
What is your role in keeping BlueSky running smoothly?
I contact students weekly to check in with them and make sure everything is going okay, answer any questions that they might have, and just help in any way that I can to make their experience at Blue Sky go smoothly.
I also teach one section of Physical Education, where I help keep students at Blue Sky to stay active and teach them about the importance of physical education and living a healthy life style.
"At Blue Sky you can make connections that you cannot make in any other traditional school setting."
Why did you choose BlueSky?
Blue Sky is a unique learning environment where you can work at your own pace and on your own time. I really enjoy being able to interact with students on a more one on one basis, which is exactly what I get to do at Blue Sky.
What do you think makes BlueSky special?
Blue Sky is special because it allows all types of students to receive a unique education on their own time and at their own pace. I feel that at Blue Sky you can make connections that you cannot make in any other traditional school setting.
What do you like to do when you're not teaching?
When I am not working at BlueSky I try to stay active. I am in a co-ed football league and a kickball league that I participate in every week. I also enjoy going to Twins games, which I have season tickets to, going to movies, camping, hiking, traveling and just hanging out with my friends and family. I am also getting married next June, so I am spending a lot of my free time planning a wedding with my Fiancé.
