I live in Brooklyn Center, MN with my wife, two kids and cat.
I chose to become an educator because I have always enjoyed helping others. In high school I developed a passion for history and geography and found that teaching would be the best way to combine these two interests. At BlueSky I have the opportunity to work with highly skilled and compassionate staff in providing engaging and meaningful curriculum to all students.
BlueSky excels at giving students individual, personalized attention. All teachers and staff at BlueSky are committed to seeing every student succeed.
I chose BlueSky because I have always been interested in alternative forms of education, especially online education. While in graduate school I focused much of my studies on online learning and now I have the opportunity to utilize the knowledge and skills I've gained in an innovative and creative environment.
BlueSky excels at giving students individual, personalized attention. All teachers and staff at BlueSky are committed to seeing every student succeed.
In my free time I am usually out and about with my family. I also enjoy playing guitar, fishing and reading.
BlueSky staff are committed to providing a high quality education to every student. All students get the individual attention they need to be successful.
I began my teaching career at Mankato West High School. From there I worked three years at an alternative school in Minneapolis that focused on work-based learning and English immersion. My next three years were spent at a charter school for students dealing with drug and alcohol addiction. While there, I completed my degree in Educational Administration and began working in a team environment to develop an online program.
