Where do you live?
I live in the middle of Minnesota in the small town of Royalton. My husband and I enjoy playing with our black lab, Luke.
Why did you become a counselor?
My high school counselor was a great role model for me, so I knew that I wanted to be a school counselor, too. Now that I have reached my goal, it has been an extremely rewarding career, and I look forward to the future with BlueSky Online School and the positive impact I can have on my students.
BlueSky is an awesome school that has a staff who cares about their students and wants students to succeed.
Why did you choose BlueSky?
This is my third year as a school counselor with BlueSky. It has been a wonderful place to make personal connections with the students and help them make and work toward their goals. Being able to meet with the students face-to-face at conferences and testing can be very exciting. I enjoy working with a staff that cares deeply about the success of each student.
What do you think makes BlueSky special?
Each student gets to take advantage of working one-on-one with all staff.
What do you like to do when you’re not working at BlueSky?
When weather allows, we enjoy boating and four-wheeling. In the winter, I enjoy staying warm while reading, playing cards, and watching movies. Our favorite pastime is traveling, having enjoyed road trips in the United States and trips outside the country
If there were one thing you could tell people about BlueSky, what would it be?
BlueSky is an awesome school that has a staff that cares about their students. They want students to succeed.
